pleated top street style astoria new york topshop jeans casual street style ASOS pleated top [$33] | Topshop distressed jeans [size up] | Sole Society heels c/o | Gucci bag c/o Luisviaroma | Sole Society sunnies c/o | BaubleBar bracelet c/o [use code CLOSETCRUSH20 for 20% off your $50+ purchase]

We've been having incredible weather this week, but I'm almost sad that I can feel the cooler air making its way into NYC! Don't get me wrong - I love fall, but where did summer go? NOT ready for all the layering sweaters, boots, etc!

It's still a little too warm to be wearing any fall items which is why I opt for incorporating fall colors into my wardrobe - just like last week's post.  Burnt orange is a great color for fall - it blends well with dark denim or black.  This top is super easy to style and is only $33.  I also got these Topshop jeans during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale - they're under $100 and a great buy! I would recommend sizing up from your normal size though - but they are stretchy (and high-waisted).

We found this artsy neighborhood in Astoria this past weekend - how amazing is it? Of course we made a family trip out of it and Noah was so excited to see all the different colors.

Keeping my post short and sweet today - this mama is going to bed before midnight! Thanks for reading =)

When you have to dress "business" 5 days a week, it's hard to keep getting creative.  When you search for different style pants or tops - everything starts getting repetitive.  With my mind always wondering what else I can wear that's "different," I forget how simple and sleek a classic white button-down can look with slacks or a pencil skirt.  I honestly forgot the last time I wore a classic shirt like this.

This one from ASOS is only $21 and true to size.  I'm wearing a US size 4 for reference.  I also recently got these pinstripe crop pants from ASOS - LOVE them (also wearing a US size 4).  They're not your classic pair of blue slacks, but they add some dimension to your outfit with the subtle pink stripes.  When in doubt, pair with nude accessories and you've got yourself a business attire outfit.  I would throw on a navy blue blazer if it is required!

Do you have any specific requests for my 'Monday Office Memo' series? Please let me know in the comments below and I would love to incorporate!  Thanks for reading, I hope you have a great day.

summer outfit idea knotted dress gucci crossbody striped dress
Shein dress c/o (only $22) | Sole Society flats c/o | Gucci bag via Luisaviaroma c/o | Ray-bans | Kendra Scott earrings c/o | Beaucoup Designs bracelets and ring c/o

Happy Wednesday! Is it me or this week is extremely slow? SO can't wait for the weekend again...which by the way I wouldn't mind a three-day weekend like ALL the time.

Confession, I wore this dress twice since I got it. But can you blame me? I think it's the best piece I ever got from Shein.  The quality is really great, the material is stretchy and thick.  Most importantly - it is NOT see-through.  I wore it two weekends ago to a barbecue at my friend's house (with sandals) and again this past weekend.  I think it will also be a great piece to style with lace-up heels for an evening out or something less casual.  Not to mention - the knot detail is just so amazing.  It's definitely a subtle statement, which is a winner in my book.

Also, I'm so excited about my new flats from Sole Society.  They come in three colors and are under $80.  As I mentioned in Monday's post, fall is right around the corner - so it's a great idea to get a head start on investing in transitional items - like these flats! They're a great back to school staple (you can style them with jeans and basically any top you want)!

AND, I'm sure you saw me lusting over this Gucci bag from Luisaviaroma on Snap and Instagram! I die...! I wanted a black crossbody that is great for everyday, but also not a huge size. This particular one does look a little small, but any bag that can fit my iPhone 6S Plus is big enough for me.  The size is just perfect to grab and go - which is just what I was looking for.  If you're looking to invest in a great designer bag or any other items, definitely check out Luisaviaroma - they offer free express shipping and returns!

Thanks so much for stopping by! Hope you have a great rest of the day.

summer street style block heel sole society casual outfit inspiration henri bendel fall collection summer outfit Chicwish top c/o | Sun & Shadow denim shorts (under $45) | Sole Society block heels c/o | Henri Bendel bag c/o (available in black; this color is not online yet) | Kendra Scott necklace, earrings, ring  c/o | Sole Society sunnies

Hi everyone, I hope you had a fabulous weekend! I hope you all have been well.  I haven't posted on the blog in a little while...I'm trying my hardest to get back into my old routine.  I know I'm due for an 'Monday Office Memo' post but it has been SO hot in New York, it's unbearable to wear anything but shorts and tank tops especially for photos!  It's different when I go to work during the week because I'm in and out of the car...but it's definitely a struggle to get dressed in business attire when you just want to jump into a pool!  Do you have any suggestion for a next office post? Please leave any comments below, would love to hear from you.

I think our camera lens got a little distorted yesterday from the's that bad! How's the weather where you are? It's hard to believe that fall is right around the corner.  As much as I'm sick of the heat, I feel like summer JUST started and I'm not ready for layers yet =( But all stores and brands are already bringing out their fall these Sole Society block heels and this Henri Bendel crossbody bag.  The shoes are SO comfy, I'm excited to style them with slacks for work.  Also, I'm loving the strap on this bag - it makes it so bearable when you're carrying a million things.  This exact color is not online yet, but I'll definitely let you know when it will be!

I also like to keep my jewelry as simple as possible. The new Kendra Scott fall collection has so many varieties in colors and styles.  The deep blue that I'm wearing is so pretty and versatile.  Anyways, thanks for reading - I hope you're staying cool wherever you are!
