fall outfit inspiration casual weekend style casual street style gray tassel cardigan fall outfit idea weekend wear Chicwish tassel cardigan c/o | Lush tee; similar here | Zara jeans; similar here | Marc Fisher booties | Lack of Color Fedora (floppy version is linked; mine is currently sold out) | GiGi New York crossbody c/o | Sunnies

If I could wear a different version of this outfit everyday for fall - I'd be set.  I look forward to the weekends (not only because of no work and time with family) but because I don't need to wear work clothes! I'm all about stretchy jeans, a comfy tee and cardigan combo.  I bought so many cardigans recently - I hope I'll have enough weekends to wear them (haha, kidding) - New York is always brutal with its winters!

This tassel cardigan from Chicwish is a cutie - for just $60, the quality is pretty good and it lays on you in a flattering way.  Lots of cardigans that I've tried on or ordered have disappointed me major because they were either too boxy or just did not flatter my body type.  I recommend this option for you - you won't be disappointed; plus, the tassels add a different touch to the "everyday" cardigan.

My recent purchases AKA obsessions are these Marc Fisher booties (that come in LOTS of different colors) and my fedora.  If you're looking for a new pair of booties, these are great for everyday. The heel is chunky enough for comfort and you can dress them up for work.  I mainly got them because they are longer around the ankle area, which works well with cropped pants and jeans.  Also, I JUST ordered this fedora like 2 weeks ago and it seems to be sold out already. I'll let you know once it's in stock - but linked the floppy hat version for you, by the same brand.

monday office memo lk bennett work outfit inspiration what to wear to work work outfit idea L.K.Bennett Neha check jacket c/o | H&M sweater | H&M pants (old); similar here | Zara shoes; similar here | Phillip Lim satchel | Ray-ban sunglasses

Happy Monday friends! Hope you all had a relaxing weekend because it's full swing back at the office.  I'm excited to partner with L.K.Bennett for my 'Monday Office Memo' series, sharing their Workwear Collection.  I always get so happy when I find a new store or brand that carries different and unique items for work.

Let's face it - work wear isn't the most exciting, especially if everything just looks so much better with jeans; am I right? I always resort to one item in my 9-5 outfit that will work as a statement.  This double-breasted blazer is JUST that. I actually love the fact that double-breasted blazers are back in style; it reminds me of that old, classic chic charm.  My favorite part of the jacket is the pink lining throughout.  It works great with slacks or over a dress - and will transition well into the evening or weekend wear if you want to opt out for a more casual look with jeans.  It's a great versatile piece, as are many items offered by L.K.Bennett.

Not to mention, the brand offers items that are made for women of all ages.  The Workwear collection features some of my favorite items; if I could order every blazer - I would! And you know how much I love a good blazer. I hope you have a chance to browse through their site - there's so much to look through; shoes, accessories, clothing - you name it!

Thanks so much for stopping by; have a great Monday!

Happy Wednesday everyone! New York certainly got its share of a chilly fall this week - something I definitely was not ready for! I still didn't even take out all my sweaters from last year yet and put my summer clothes away (tear, tear).

With that being said, I thought I'd do a different type of post today in honor of the chilly weather and fall fever with Halloween approaching.  Here are five ideas of mine that I think you should definitely add to your "fall" to-do list! If you have any other ideas I didn't think of - leave a comment below!

1. Visit a pumpkin patch!

Pumpkin Noah was only 6 months old here! This is one of my favorite things to do in the fall because of family time! I especially love it now with Noah because of all his reactions to new things that he sees or recognizes from his books, videos and/or toys.

2. Watch Scary Movies (either Disney classics or the hardcore stuff)

I'm not all about scary movies - I know a lot of other people are.  I'll stick with the classics, like Hocus Pocus! Other favorites are Casper, Halloweentown or The Nightmare before Christmas. How many memories do these movies bring back? I always remember watching them with my sisters and having tons of junk food out - we would call it our "Junk Night."

3. Invest in Some Chunky Knits

Nothing screams fall more than some chunky knits! They are popular every year and are always on the top of my list of things to wear because I'm not a fan of the freezing weather. I just ordered a whole bunch of sweaters from H&M actually - waiting for them to arrive! I linked some of them below, along with my other favorites!

4. Pumpkin-flavored Everything!

Everyone gets into their pumpkin fever in October! Like pumpkin-spice latte, pumpkin pie, pumpkin-spice ice cream, butternut squash soup, pumpkin ravioli and the list goes on.  I recently just discovered pumpkin-spice flavored Philadelphia cream cheese (haha) - I swear!  What have you seen that was randomly pumpkin-spice flavor?

5.  Home Decor

There are SO many cute ideas for home decor right now - everywhere I go! I love to see how people decorate their houses, especially for Halloween.  When we went trick o' treating last year, our neighborhood was something else! Definitely not your average pumpkin collections on the front lawns - I'm talking about "haunted" bodies on swings tied to trees (so funny and creative though) or huge spiders on roofs of homes.

But fall home decor is my favorite! I linked some of my favorite ideas for the home below.  What are some ideas you have for decorating your home for fall?

Happy Sunday loves! My posting has definitely been off schedule this past week - but only because there are so many things I want to share with you and I can't wait!

Nordstrom Rack is having its 'Clear the Rack' Sale with clearance styles that are an additional 25% off, for a savings of up to 75% off! The sale runs until October 10th! I got so many goodies already - can't wait till they arrive.  It's definitely a great time to stock up on some much-needed fall goodies; because when else will you get crazy designer deals like this!? Some brands part of the sale are VINCE., 1.State, 7 for All Mankind, alice + olivia, Cynthia Rowley, Eileen Fisher, Topshop, and so many more.

The 'Clear the Rack' sale also has so much variety as far as items - women's clothing, accessories and shoes (of course), as well as men, kids and items for the home.

Here's a look at what I purchased:

This Vince Camuto window pane cardigan is only $33.73, marked down from $119!!!! I ordered this little cutie and it's on the way!

I also ordered this ASTR high/low turtleneck sweater - it'll look great with a moto jacket and jeans for a weekend casual look.  I will also definitely wear it to work, layered with a white classic shirt underneath. It's currently only $18.73 (original price $68).

I also got a gorgeous VINCE. silk blouse that doesn't seem to be in stock anymore - but there are SO many more options with this designer.

Here is a look at some of my other favorite items from the sale!

1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 | 8

I hope you take advantage of the sale! If you do, let me know what you end up buying!
